Our Website Process
Every Bee Lite website follows a simple, transparent process from sign-off to launch – designed to keep things clear, collaborative, and on track. Most projects go live within eight weeks, but we’ll always move at your pace.
1. Sign-off & Onboarding
Your project begins once you’ve approved the proposal and signed the Bee Lite contract. We’ll introduce your dedicated Project Manager and share a short onboarding form to capture your goals, brand assets, and access details for your existing website or hosting.
2. Kick-off & Discovery
We’ll then host a one-hour kick-off call to discuss your answers, clarify priorities, and agree success measures. This forms the foundation of your Blueprint – a clear summary of what we’ll build and how it meets your needs.
3. Design Phase
Using our bespoke flexible, pre-built design framework, we’ll create a homepage and key page layouts tailored to your brand. You’ll review the design and provide feedback (up to two rounds) so we can refine everything before build.
4. Build & Test
Once designs are approved, our developers bring them to life in WordPress, using the Bee Lite bespoke framework. We test across browsers and devices to make sure your site looks great and works smoothly.
You’ll receive a preview link to explore and request small tweaks before launch.
5. Handover & Training
When the site is approved, we’ll deliver your final build, add any launch-day content, and run a hands-on CMS training session. You’ll learn how to update pages, upload images, and manage your content confidently.
6. Launch & Support
Once you’re happy, we’ll set your site live. You’ll have a seven-day bug-fix period after launch, and we’ll offer optional hosting and support packages to keep everything secure, up-to-date, and performing well.
